Hi! I’m Nancy Nordgren. I enjoying working with WordPress to make websites more effective and attractive. As I showed on my Home Page, there are a variety of ways to do this.
I have worked with computers for years. I started learning computer programming when I was in college and worked in that field until my job went overseas. I did a lot of analysis and problem-solving in those years.
I felt really good when I helped someone do their job better or gave them the tools or information they needed.
I learned a lot about CSS, HTML, XML, and SQL Server which I’ve used ever since. I worked on a couple of websites, one of which was a system to keep track of special representative reports for a law firm. That system went away when .NET stepped away from pages that were Forms because they weren’t responsive (didn’t work on mobile phones or tablets).
I still enjoyed helping people get their job done or gave them tools or information so they could do their job better.
I got started with WordPress to help out with reworking our church’s website. Then I realized that a law firm’s website needed editing. I updated a website for a friend and then build a new website for him.
Websites can be powerful tools for attracting customers to a business. I enjoy making websites more effective, informative, and locatable.
